Andy has worked as professionally as a Guitar Player since 1985.
His first job was in the cabaret band ‘Roxanne’ playing in working men’s clubs up and down the north of England.
1987 Recruited by original rock band the Quest, to travel to Tokyo to perform with the band at The Budukan Stadium representing the U.K. in Yamaha World Band Explosion.
Here Andy received a Guitar award, awarded to him by Steve Lukather of Toto and Nathan East (Michael Jackson/Eric Clapton).
Toured with this band supporting It Bites on their Once Around The World tour.
1994 Moved to London to work as a freelance Guitar Player.
First job was in a resident 3 to 4 piece jazz band ran by Michael Choi in club ‘Embargo’ on Lots Rd (Kings Rd, Chelsea).
This band ran for a year or so. Chris Jerome played keyboards in this band. Lots of fun and musical journeys happened in this band.
Kojo Samuel covered amazingly for Chris a few times.
We had a star studded audience who regularly came to hang out at some point during our long playing evenings (9 till 4), 3 nights a week.
Danni Minogue, Michael Stipe, Jay Kay, Marianne Faithful, Keith Allen, Gary Husband, Joslin Brown and Barbara Windsor where involved in some memorable experiences.
Gary Husband sat in a few times on a piece we used to do that Mike would start using the theme from ‘My mans gone now’ (Miles Davis).
Marianne loved the guitars, an Ronnie O’Sullivan asked a few times for some Guitar lessons.
Charlie Kray got us to do a private gig for himself one Sunday night in the club.
Jay Kay was once sent to get some cigarettes.

Worked in the band promoting their best selling album ‘Sumo’ on their 3month U.S. tour.
Recorded Album with Producer Marc Waterman for Vince Roccos Rock Band
‘Multi-Plug’ at Grand Master Studios, Hollywood, California.
Returned to Hollywood a year later in 1999 to become a member of this band with
Bass player Tommy (Alice Cooper) and Drummer Clive (Dextor Gordon) along with Vocalist Vince
(The Cult, Andy Summers, Steve Stevens).
The band worked out of Swing house rehearsal studios in Hollywood, sharing one of the three rooms with The Red Hot Chilli Peppers who were preparing for their Californication Tour.
Returned to the U.K. to support Fine Young Cannibals, as a Solo Artist on their U.K. to***********@*****il.com
